Odd Yet Magical Amusement Park Photos to Brighten Your Day

The Tallest Swing Ride

Get ready to soar high above the Orlando skyline on the world’s tallest swing ride, the Orlando StarFlyer! At an impressive height of about 450 feet, this thrill ride is not for the faint of heart. With a rotation speed of up to 45 miles per hour, it’s definitely for adventurous souls. And surprisingly, it only comes with a height requirement.

This heart-pumping experience was conceptualized in 2012, coinciding with the placement of another unit next to the iconic London Eye. The StarFlyer’s top decoration, designed by the Red Bull logo designer, was created on a napkin in Austria before being shipped in 28 containers to the United States.

At Least Dad’s Having a Good Time

A father recently made his son’s dream a reality by taking him to a theme park to ride a rollercoaster. The little boy wanted to prove he was a big boy, but it seems the first drop quickly changed his mind about growing up too fast.

It’s not uncommon for people to develop a fear of rollercoasters after a particularly scary experience. This may be because rollercoasters are specifically designed to stimulate the fear center of our brains. In fact, studies show the sensation of fear we experience on a rollercoaster is similar to what we feel when visiting a haunted house.
