Odd Yet Magical Amusement Park Photos to Brighten Your Day

At Least Dad’s Having a Good Time

A father recently made his son’s dream a reality by taking him to a theme park to ride a rollercoaster. The little boy wanted to prove he was a big boy, but it seems the first drop quickly changed his mind about growing up too fast.

It’s not uncommon for people to develop a fear of rollercoasters after a particularly scary experience. This may be because rollercoasters are specifically designed to stimulate the fear center of our brains. In fact, studies show the sensation of fear we experience on a rollercoaster is similar to what we feel when visiting a haunted house.

Always Ready for a Pretzel

Reminiscent of the famous actress Katherine Heigl, this woman seems to have a soft spot for pretzels, and she’s proudly posing with two giant Mickey Mouse-shaped ones. One wonders if she managed to devour them both in one sitting, perhaps dipping them in the accompanying sauce.

In Disney parks, the culinary delights are just as magical as the attractions themselves. The team responsible for creating these treats works at a facility known as the Flavor Lab. According to Ed Wronski, Director of Culinary Development, crafting the perfect Mickey-shaped snack requires precision and expertise. So guests are guaranteed a truly immersive experience, from the rides to the food.

The Odd One Out

Disneyland may be called the happiest place on earth, yet it might not be so for everyone. Just take a look at Jordan Alexadner, who’s since been given the title “Angry Splash Mountain woman.” In this photo, she can be seen looking pretty upset, in contrast to the joyous faces of other riders.

This snap went viral, and she became an overnight sensation. But what was the reason behind her frown? Apparently her husband had promised to ride Splash Mountain with her but backed out at the last minute. So Jordan lost her zeal the moment her husband let her down.
