Celebrities You Thought Were Gone But Are Still Alive!
Charles S. Dutton | Born In 1951, Roc
Charles Dutton hit the ground running with his part in the Broadway production of “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.” And a Tony Award nomination and Theatre World Award are ample proof. Anyone who thought Dutton would be a one-hit wonder would have been wrong.
Consecutive Emmy awards in 2003 and 2004 proved his skill. And there’s no doubt many of us remember his Roc Emerson persona in “Roc.” While we know him best for his on-screen roles, Dutton is also a producer and director. Today, it’s incredible how he went from amateur boxer to a Hollywood icon with over 100 acting credits.
