Before landing her job at the BBC, Fiona Bruce went through other posts that left her feeling unhappy about life. Those pre-journalism days weren’t all bad, though, because she met her husband, Nigel Sharrocks, a former Aegis Media executive, during her advertising stint.
Wed in 1994, the couple remained together over two decades into their union. Sharrocks is content to stay in the background as Bruce continues to live in the spotlight, presenting multiple programs including “BBC News At Six” and “Antiques Roadshow,” which 44th season began airing in 2021.
