Sandra Sully has several firsts in her career. She was the first Australian journalist to cover 9/11 because she was on air then. She was also the first woman to co-host the Melbourne Cup Carnival. In 2011, she married entrepreneur Symon Brewis-Weston at Sydney Opera house. He has previously worked with The Bank of South Pacific Ltd and Commonwealth Bank of Australia. He is currently the CEO of Timelio. They allegedly dated for a decade before tying the knot.
