Man-Dolphins Are The Answer

Exams can be nerve-wracking, and it’s not uncommon to experience a mental block. This student was in the same situation and drew a man-dolphin instead of the expected answer. It was a funny way to express their feelings, and the teacher appreciated it!

Dolphins have a very complex neocortex and are known for their intelligence, self-awareness, and problem-solving abilities. In fact, bottlenose dolphins have EQs of 5.3, significantly higher than others in the animal kingdom. The student may also be demonstrating their capabilities. Creativity is often undervalued in the educational system, but this one showed that it could be rewarded.

How To Nail It

It can be a huge relief to receive good marks on an exam. You know all your hard work and the stress of studying have paid off. It’s a moment of joy and satisfaction and can make your day. Unless, of course, you are the student who anxiously studied too much for the exam. In that case, you can be even more relieved when you get an A+ and nail it!

Giving them a deserved standing ovation is well-deserved, but what about the teacher? It is undoubtedly amusing when the educator appreciates the student’s test paper. If they had taken a more stern approach, the dialogue would’ve been more than just ‘nailed it.’

Relating To Existential Crisis

The clock is the only source of hope for students struggling through an exhausting lecture. The professor had the ingenious idea of attaching a phrase to the wall clock to remind them that time is passing and they should pay attention. It can be seen as a creative way to motivate the students, although some may view it as a rude interruption of their only glimpse of freedom.

Nonetheless, refocusing their minds on the lesson can be an excellent reminder. We can all be thankful that we are not part of this class, as the clock is a stark reminder of how quickly time can pass.
