There once was a meme doing the rounds of Jason Derulo falling down the stairs at the Met Gala. The only problem is that the person in the meme isn’t Jason Derulo. Hell, the event is actually the Cannes Film Festival in 2011. The man falling over is someone who tried to crash the film festival.
It also caused plenty of admin in Derulo’s life, and he once said in an interview with Radio.com that he had to reassure his 93-year-old grandmother that he didn’t fall down the stairs at the Met Gala. He had to reiterate this, tweeting about it in 2019 after the meme resurfaced again.
