Sacha Baron Cohen Dumps Ashes on Ryan Seacrest – Oscars, 2012
Sacha Baron Cohen has thrived by creating and playing eccentric roles that reveal the comedic sides of cultures and subcultures. He did just that with Admiral General Aladeen for the film “The Dictator.” He was so bent on showcasing the character that he arrived as him at the 2012 Oscars.
He was also carrying an earn he claimed held the ashes of late North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Il. He proceeded to spill said ashes all over the red carpet and even got a bunch of the stuff on red carpet interviewer Ryan Seacrest. Seacrest stayed professional and continued conducting interviews with the ash on him.
