Terrence Howard’s Philosophy Class – Emmys, 2019
Sometimes people can just get caught up in their words. Take Terrence Howard at the 2019 Emmy Award. The leading man for the hit show Empire let loose with some pretty philosophical words, coming across just fine until he got a little lost with what he was saying.
Howard, an Oscar nominee for his role in the film ”Hustle & Flow” waxed lyrical about the universe and emotions and how everything is essentially waves. He then explained how waves are curved before abruptly questioning where “the straight lines come from to make the platonic solids?” We’re sure he knows what he meant. Everyone else doesn’t.
