CORNELIA FROBOESS, 1943, WRIEZEN
Cornelia Froboess was already on stage as a child and won the hearts of her listeners with the hit “Pack the bathing suit”. The song made “little Cornelia” famous. The woman from Wriezen was able to build on this fame, because she soon became a teenage idol. With the success came more offers and Cornelia also began to shoot television films.
This led to collaborations with former show greats like Peter Alexander. But Cornelia also made several films and sang various duets with rock’n’roller Peter Kraus. Cornelia isn’t thinking about retiring either, which of course we think is great. In 2021, for example, she could only be seen in the TV film “Ostwind – The Great Hurricane”.
