Ralf Wolter, 1927, Berlin
The German actor has a career spanning more than 60 years in over 230 film and television productions. In the early days he worked in cabaret and later came to film. His breakthrough came in the 1960s with the Karl May films. Later he played mainly in television productions such as “Tatort” or “Coast Guard”. In each of his last two films, he played a patient in a retirement home. In 2013 he announced his retirement from the film business. To this day, the actor still receives many requests for autographs, but he doesn’t want to go back to the public. Today he lives with his wife Edith in Munich and enjoys his retirement.
Mario Adorf, 1932, Zurich
In addition to his job as an actor, Mario Adorf is also a radio play speaker and author. He acted in many national and international television and cinema productions. His long career, which began in 1954, brought him many awards, such as the “Bambi” and the “German Film Prize”. In 2010 he received an honorary doctorate for his life’s work. To this day, Mario Adorf is still active and seen in front of the camera. In 2018 his great wish was fulfilled and he was allowed to play Karl Marx as the main role in a ZDF production. A year later, a documentary about his life was released, in which he played himself.
Tine Wittler, 1975, Rahden
Since 2013 she seems to have disappeared from the social and TV scene, but Tine Wittler is more active than ever. After “Use in 4 Walls”, the 47-year-old continues to sing and act and also writes her own lyrics for her album, which kept her out of the limelight (if not off the stage) for seven years. However, on her tour she didn’t forget to celebrate her 20-year career between plays and television shows. Wittler, who has been enthusiastic about art and opera since childhood, is now a writer and restaurateur, although she revealed in an interview with “Gala” that she prefers to take a break and enjoy the peace and quiet in the country.
Andrea Kiewel, 1967, East Berlin
Die berühmteste “Kiwi” in der Welt des Fernsehens war wieder in den Nachrichten, als Gerüchte über ihre Teilnahme an einem weiteren “Fernsehgarten” im Jahr 2022 aufkamen, der dann vom ZDF offiziell für Juni des selben Jahres bestätigt wurde. Darüber hinaus scheint es für Kiewel aber auch große Neuigkeiten gegeben zu haben. Abgesehen von einem neuen Partner, scheint Kiwi von den Neuerungen, die der “Fernsehgarten” für die neue Staffel vorsieht, begeistert zu sein. Zwischen extremen Aktivitäten wie Bungee-Jumping und einem völlig neuen Stil werden wir Kiwi in neuem Gewand sehen, oder vielleicht sollten wir sagen in ‘altem’ Gewand: Kiewels Karriere begann nämlich als Sportlerin, wenn auch im Schwimmen. Die gute alte Zeit, Kiewel ist besser in Form als je zuvor.
Frauke Ludowig, 1965, Wunstorf
Es gibt diejenigen, die sich nicht zur Ruhe setzen wollen, und diejenigen, die nach 34 Jahren Karriere immer noch ihr Bestes geben: Frauke Ludowig hat nicht die geringste Absicht, das Mikrofon zu verlassen, sei es im Radio oder im Fernsehen. Ludowig hat sich als eines der beliebtesten Gesichter (und Stimmen) in Deutschland etabliert und bewegt sich zwischen “Stern TV”, “Eine Meldung”, wo sie Günther Jauch die Show stiehlt und YouTube-Videos, in denen sie sich von ihrer natürlichsten Seite zeigt. Sie hat ihre Podcasts für “RTL” nicht beiseite gelegt, sie ist zu Gast bei “Exklusiv” in Köln, wo sie andeutet, dass seit der Veröffentlichung ihres Buches (2009) zu viel Zeit verstrichen ist.
