SAHRA WAGENKNECHT AND OSKAR LAFONTAINE – 6 YEARS
The marriage to Oskar Lafontaine is the second wedding of the politician and former left leader Sahra Wagenknecht. From 1997 to 2013 Wagenknecht was in a relationship with the SPD politician Ralph-Thomas Niemeyer. Today she is happily married to Oskar Lafontaine, who is 26 years her senior. Sahra says it’s a shame they met so late.
Unfortunately, at 50 you are already too old to have children together, which she would have liked to have had with Oskar. Although Lafontaine has two children from a previous marriage, they are all grown up and have not lived with their father for a long time.
