Anne Spiegel, politician of Bündnis90/Die Grünen was Minister for Family, Women, Youth, Integration and Consumer Protection from 2016 – 2021.
Only four months after taking up her new post as Minister for Family Affairs, Spiegel resigned after she had to face serious allegations in 2022.
Shortly after the terrible flood disaster on the Ahr in summer 2021, the minister took a four-week vacation, for which she was severely criticized. The reason for this is said to have been her husband’s stroke. She keeps her personal life completely private, so little is known about it. However, the couple has four children together, who are looked after by her husband at home.
