OLAF SCHOLZ AND BRITTA ERNST – 23 YEARS
Olaf Scholz has been on everyone’s lips since he stood as the SPD’s top candidate for the 2021 federal election and became the new Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany. Since then we have known about his politics and his career in the SPD, of which he has been a member since 1975. Privately, Scholz, like many of his political colleagues, is rather covered. The SPD man has been married to party colleague Britta Ernst since 1998.
However, the couple has no children, which is probably due to the fact that both always wanted to focus fully on their political careers. According to his wife Britta, the secret of their long and happy marriage is mutual respect, togetherness and prioritizing their relationship above all else.
