The Point Dume property, currently owned by fashion mogul Sidney Kimmel, went up for sale with an original asking price of $81.5 million, then lowered by around 20% later on. Nevertheless, it was a giant leap from how much the TV legend bought the home in 1984.
Carson paid $9.5 million for the opulent oceanfront estate in Malibu and called it home for two decades. The property is on four acres of land, with a 7,083-square-foot main house that boasts of nothing but luxury. Records show that Kimmel bought the estate from the host’s widow for $46 million.
