Dick Van Dyke and Arlene Silver – 45 Years
The SAG Awards in 2006 presented the perfect first meeting opportunity for legendary comedian Dick Van Dyke and make-up artist Arlene Silver. They didn’t start dating then until after the death of his long-time wife, Michelle Triola Marvin, in 2009. In February 2012, Dyke, aged 86, and Silver, aged 41, got married.
Their 45-year age difference is more than glaring. Even Dyke has previously joked about how Silver is very mature for her age while he’s immature for his age. On the other hand, she quips about how his immaturity isn’t in a bad way but works to make both of them live their “second childhood.”
