Whether unfortunate or not, Tatyana Ali will always be remembered as Ashley Banks, the niece of Will Smith’s character in The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air. The fact that her image hasn’t changed much since the Fresh Prince ended makes it even more difficult to see her as any other character. She has spread her wings, though.
Ali dabbled a bit in music, and with the help of Smith, released an album called Touch The Sky in 1998. She has also starred in the TV One original series Love That Girl! and a recurring role in long-standing soap opera The Young And The Restless as Roxanne.
