Ann Wilson – 60 Pounds
In 2006 Ann Wilson was listed as one of the Top Heavy Metal Vocalists Of All Time by Hit Parader magazine. This was quite a compliment for the singer of rock band Heart since she had spent most of her life being bullied and criticized for her weight.
Wilson had weight issues her entire life and, and after having two children, she started worrying about her health, and decided to make a change. That change started with lap band surgery, which, unlike gastric bypass where staples are used, instead here, an elastic band is placed over the top of the stomach.
