When you’re an author and writer, you spend a large portion of your day sitting down. This is often why writers are not the fittest or leanest celebrities in the world. But Twilight saga author Stephanie Meyer decided to make a conscious effort not to be another podgy writer.
The young adult writer wasn’t exactly lazy, to begin with, and was a regular user of her elliptical trainer, but a simple switch to her exercise routine made all the difference. Meyer swapped her elliptical for a treadmill and started running, which she says she both loves and hates, but considers the best form of exercise.
