These Celebrities’ Houses Leave Us With No Words
Sidney Poitier – Beverly Hills – Undisclosed Price

Not many people have managed the honor of a knighthood for their work in art, but Sidney Poitier is one of them, and it’s easy to see why. The actor is an outright legend with several Oscar awards and numerous commercially and critically successful films under his belt.
Now retired, Poitier resides at his opulent home in the posh neighborhood of Beverly Hills. The abode is fit for a knight, with the interior fitted with royal decorations and furniture, all of which are selections made by the actor’s wife, Joanna Shimkus. Stepping outdoors, you’ll find a sprawling swimming pool and three-car garage among the amenities the couple gets to utilize.
Dick Cheney – Maryland – $2.5 Million

Dick Cheney used to be the former United States before he vacated the White House when Barack Obama assumed office as the President in 2009. Ten years later, Cheney has had to leave another white house, located in Maryland, which he sold for $2.5 million, a price slightly below what he bought it for initially.
The Maryland mansion comprises three bedrooms with three bathrooms, sitting on nine acres of land. The guest house also comes with a bedroom and a bathroom to follow. Why Cheney sold this home is what we can’t tell, but we do hope it was the right decision for him.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez – Westchester County – $355K

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a popular member of the US House of Representatives, who has been representing the New York 14th congressional district. During her campaign for this position, she mentioned she hailed from the Bronx but was later under fire after the revelation that she reportedly resided in Yorktown.
One obvious thing that had stayed in Alexandria’s life was her childhood residence which was initially bought by her father for $150,000 when she was just two years old but was later sold for $355,000 after their family eventually moved. As for Cortez herself, she has continued to be consistently successful over the years.
