Veil on the Go
The veil has to be one of the most unpredictable parts of a woman’s beautiful attire. It’s usually made of flimsy material, so it’s easy to manipulate. But this becomes the problem when it’s not a human but some other factor, like the wind, doing the manipulating.
This pic by New York photographer Sascha Reinking shows a beautiful couple posing in a distinguished setting. But the gossamer fabric appears to be stuck in the elevator, making this less of a romantic affair and a more potentially dangerous one. It’s funny, no doubt, but hopefully, that elevator remained in place until they got the stuck fabric out.
What Friendship Means
First, we love how the color of the outfits and the bouquet blends well with the greenery in the background. But beautiful, soft pastels aside, this photo offers a glimpse of the bond between these two friends. And is a union even worth celebrating if the couple isn’t surrounded by their dearest well-wishers and people who have watched their love story blossom?
This pair decided to take a pic together to commemorate the event. But someone must have made a joke because the bride is very amused! Thankfully, her best friend is holding onto her tightly, so she is in no danger of falling.
Blowing Chunks
Being a wedding photographer means being privy to the most romantic scenes and sometimes also the most laughable. This picture certainly falls on the latter end of the spectrum. It could have been a lovely photo with the children and the couple in matching outfits, but the little girl had a little too much excitement. And the events of the day gave her an upset stomach.
The man came to the rescue, holding on to the little girl as she did her business, but the newly married woman couldn’t stop laughing at how awkward the moment was. And from the boys’ expressions, they find the entire thing a bit embarrassing.
Switching Sides
At some point, we all have to agree the veils are the villains of the story. This woman looks radiant in that sleeveless gown with embroidered details, and her tresses have been styled to perfection. She knows she’s the star of the show and her smile says as much.
But looking to the right, it’s obvious the weather had different plans for the man. Of course, his suit looks well-fitted, and the white boutonniere on his lapel adds a nice touch. But the soft tulle draped around him makes it difficult for anyone to appreciate his outfit. It’s almost as if the wind wanted them to switch looks.
Baby Bombing
No matter how skilled a person is with a lens, it’s impossible to control every aspect of a snapshot. New York City photographer David Perlman had all the ingredients for a magnificent group portrait. The bridesmaids were standing in a straight line, and no one was in the other’s spot.
And best of all, they also appeared to be having a great time. But just as Perlman clicked the shot, this woman came hurrying past with a baby in a stroller. Props to her for trying her best to get out of the way quickly. But the damage had been done.
