‘Mickey Mouse’ has a steadfast companion in his loyal canine pal, ‘Pluto.’ The beloved pup made his first appearance alongside the iconic mouse in the 1930 short “The Chain Gang,” and Walt Disney was so impressed with him that he decided to make him a permanent member of the crew.
Interestingly, ‘Pluto’ faced an identity crisis when he appeared as ‘Rover,’ ‘Minnie Mouse’s’ pet. But today, he’s regarded as one of the good boys in the Mickey Mouse club. Pluto is always ready to make a new pal, so when another furry friend appeared in the park, they instantly clicked.
