If you’re a parent visiting Disneyland with kids too short to ride some of the attractions, you might find this sign helpful. Though it reads “Chids Swap,” there are no sinister intentions. Rider Switch is a service offered to help parents and other visitors with small children to ride the thrill rides without waiting in line twice.
Disneyland cast members take the height requirement for certain rides seriously by measuring children at the entrance to ensure they meet each ride requirement. So this service enables visitors who do not meet those requirements to wait with someone else who can swap places after the ride.
