Contrary to popular belief, the twerking trend did not start with Miley Cyrus but with DJ Shawn Hatfield, who went by the name Twerk. Nevertheless, some people jokingly attribute the dance craze to ‘Donald Duck,’ as seen in this photo of a woman imitating his moves.
Perhaps this woman couldn’t resist the urge to dance while on vacation, but it’s possible she received a stern warning from park staff. We can’t blame Donald for inspiring people to dance, as the iconic character has shown off his moves in the 1937 short film “Hawaiian Holiday.” In addition to his dancing skills, Donald is also known for his comical and mischievous personality.
