Driving on a track with water or mud is always a risk. This was proven when two women got their car stuck in tire-deep mud. They had to take their shoes off to try and get the vehicle out of the muck. They had gotten so desperate that they decided to dig the muck out of the tires.
It is also ill-advised to drive a convertible with the top down when the track is mucky. The mud could have splashed and caused a mess inside the car. In the end, it was a lesson learned–to be more cautious when driving on a wet or muddy track.
