In 2012, a woman in San Ramon was seen at a gas station filling her car in a peculiar manner. This was unusual as self-service gas pumping has long been the norm in many places around the world.
Fortunately, there are still numerous states which do not allow self-service and have employees in place instead. These countries are mostly developing countries like Thailand, China, Egypt, India and Belgium. The woman didn’t seem to be aware of this fact, but it is fortunate that she was not put in any danger due to her lack of knowledge—let’s hope that there’s no one smoking nearby.
