Secrets of the Crown: Explore Mind-Boggling Royal Conspiracy Theories!

King Edward VIII Was in Cahoots With the Nazis

King Edward VIII’s ties to the Nazis have long been a subject of speculation and controversy. This rumor originated from Edward’s abdication in 1936 and his subsequent visits to Nazi Germany in 1937, where he and his wife, Wallis Simpson, met Adolf Hitler. Photographs from their visit and correspondence hinted at Edward’s admiration for some of the policies of the Nazi regime.

His actions during this period raised eyebrows, given the looming threat of World War II. Additionally, declassified FBI documents and other historical records have suggested that the Nazis might have seen Edward as a potential puppet king in the event of a successful invasion of Britain.
