The Most Breathtaking Soccer Fans That May Have Also Graced The 2023 World Cup!

Uruguay

Even though Uruguay is the second-smallest South American nation, it has introduced us to some of the world’s most beloved soccer stars, like Luis Saurez. The country is also famous for its vigorously loyal fan base. An instance of such would be the women in the photo displaying support for their national team.

Players from Uruguay are some of the most proficient in the field. It’s not surprising that they bagged the first-ever World Cup in 1930. They have since conquered numerous other tournaments, including the 1970 FIFA World Cup and the 2019 China Cup. In 2022, they were part of the FIFA World Cup’s Group H with Portugal, Ghana, and South Korea.

Algeria

Algeria is renowned for multiple things aside from being Africa’s largest country. The nation is teeming with petroleum and natural gas, being a massive exporter of these by-products. Among other countries, Algeria’s national soccer team gives its locals the chance to cheer in the stands for their motherland.

Algeria made its way to FIFA in 1964, a little over two years after gaining independence. Its national team took home the title during the last FIFA Arab Cup and qualified for three more World Cups since its first 1982 qualification. Algeria wasn’t able to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, though.
