The Most Breathtaking Soccer Fans That May Have Also Graced The 2023 World Cup!

Uruguay

Even though Uruguay is the second-smallest South American nation, it has introduced us to some of the world’s most beloved soccer stars, like Luis Saurez. The country is also famous for its vigorously loyal fan base. An instance of such would be the women in the photo displaying support for their national team.

Players from Uruguay are some of the most proficient in the field. It’s not surprising that they bagged the first-ever World Cup in 1930. They have since conquered numerous other tournaments, including the 1970 FIFA World Cup and the 2019 China Cup. In 2022, they were part of the FIFA World Cup’s Group H with Portugal, Ghana, and South Korea.

Egypt

Due to its early departure from the 2018 competition, Egyptian supporters did not have much time to demonstrate the passion that they’re noted for, which even got them banned from observing matches in stadiums all over Egypt. Fans from the country still got to cheer for the Pharaohs during their last game at the competition against Saudi Arabia, culminating in Egypt’s loss.

Not dissuaded, the fans cheered for its Egyptian players to a six-nil win against Niger in their next bout at the World Cup exit. As of October 2022, Egypt placed 39th in the FIFA rankings, although they were absent from the tournament after losing its spot to play in Qatar.
