When Julius Peppers of the Carolina Panthers signed a hefty contract with the Green Bay Packers, he rushed to treat himself with a brand new home. The NFL defensive end dropped $5.18 million for a Miami mansion that, besides eight bedrooms and as many baths, also features a chef’s kitchen, infinity pool, library, and even a wine cellar. However, once Peppers switched teams meanwhile, he decided to part ways with his 9,100-square-foot Dutch-Caribbean mansion and he went on to list it for a staggering $6.5 million in 2017.
