Perhaps they had them specially crafted for this challenge, ensuring that every detail, from suspenders to turtlenecks and stockings, matched perfectly.
Their fashion sense was impressive then and continues to be in the photo recreation with the iconic suspenders. The first suspenders, made of ribbons and buttonholes, emerged in France during the 1700s. Interestingly, they were initially marketed as undergarments until the 1930s, when men started daringly wearing them over shirts. How these siblings will be pleased by being able to get pairs for recreation!
