Keanu Reeves is a movie star who has starred in several box office hits, including The Matrix and John Wick series of films. Reeves is even set to reprise his role in The Matrix 4, set for release in 2021. A false claim related to this photo that soon turned into a viral meme has gone around the Internet for years, though.
The claim is that Reeves decided to make away with this video recorder after swiping it from a photographer who decided to film him without his consent. The photo is a screengrab from the 2012 film Generation Um where the character Reeves played did steal a video recorder.
