Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander’s first meeting was on the dance floor at the Toronto Film Festival. Later they got an opportunity to know each other better while rehearsing for the 2014 romantic drama, “The Light Between Oceans.” But once in character as Tom Sherbourne and Isabel Graysmark, the co-stars were too engrossed in their work.
However, Fassbender couldn’t stop himself from gushing about his co-star. Moreover, according to eyewitness reports, both were always appreciative of each other on the set. Derek Cianfrance even compared the duo to Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, with each always making the other better.
