Did you know Regis Philbin was named after the high school his father attended, Regis High School? That is quite an interesting fact. The accomplished actor and TV personality has had what we can only call an impressive career. He was nominated for 37 Daytime Emmy Awards and won six out of them.
When he isn’t presenting or acting, Regis can sometimes be found enjoying his favorite sport, baseball. He was a huge fan of the sport as this was his hobby as well. Regis may not have been a player, but he was committed to the sport. He was in the series “Single Parents” in 2020.
