Jenna Bush Asks Pharrell about “Hidden Fences” – Oscars, 2017
Be prepared; that is all that is expected of a reporter when they are working the red carpet. They need to know what they’re talking about to whom and to get those acts in order. But most importantly, try not to mix the movie titles up. Jenna Bush didn’t heed these simple guidelines when interviewing Pharrell Williams.
He was at the 2017 Oscars as the producer of the film “Hidden Figures.” But when Bush was interviewing him, she questioned him about a movie called Hidden Fences. It appears that Bush mixed this film title with another, a predominantly black starring film called “Fences.” She apologized the next day.
