Former punter Adam Podlesh is the only player in college football history to have stayed for four years with the All-Atlantic Coast Conference. He also boasts of having the second-best punting average of 43.1 yards in school history. In his NFL career, Podlesh has played for the Jaguars, Bears, and Steelers. His career ended when Podlesh decided to stay by his wife’s side when she was experiencing serious pregnancy complications. Podlesh eventually listed his 4,248-square-foot Libertyville home just after the Bears let go of him in 2014. Podlesh had a $949K asking price for the 14-room house that he bought in 2011 for $79.5K, and it eventually sold for $879.5K.
